ONE TERM IS ENOUGH is a project of concerned taxpayer advocates who are tired of Washington special interests corrupting our elected officials. We want to end the special interest politics that waste billions of dollars every year in taxpayer funded pork-barrel projects. ONE TERM IS ENOUGH condemns the special interest earmarks of both parties, but we believe that Congressman Jerry McNerney has become the poster boy for special interest hypocrisy.
Congressman Jerry McNerney promised to change Washington's corruption; instead Washington's corruption changed Jerry McNerney. He's offered special interest earmarks in exchange for campaign contributions while simultaneously voting against funding our troops. McNerney even brags to his liberal anti-war extremist friends about his vote to place our troops in harms way.
